Here in Harlem is the famous Apollo Theatre, originally a burlesque theatre and only opened its doors to black performers in 1934. This theatre became one of the few theatres which almost exclusively promoted black acts such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and James Brown, and today it continues to showcase all manner of music and a few non-black performers. The garden level apartment is furnished with restored antiques and original African and African American art and artifacts representing the cultural heritage of this authentic NY neighborhood. There are two rooms on the second floor of the house, a double and a triple. Both have a double bed and the triple has a pullout (trundle) bed. The rooms share a bathroom in the hall. The rooms have coffee/tea making facilities, fresh linens and towels, a hair dryer, TV, wireless internet, air-conditioning, fans and heating. Guests have access to the kitchen. There is wireless internet in public areas.

Ottimi letti e bella biancheria, buona ubicazione vicino alla metro e vicino all'entrata nord di Central Park, la signora gentile e disponibile, casa molto caratteristica. Forse servono alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione (p.e. infissi difficili da aprire per usura)Translate this guest review
