The American Museum of Natural History is well worth the visit for their excellent exhibits on all manner of flora and fauna. There is a convenient subway station just near the hotel which will take you to midtown in no time or down further into lower Manhattan’s Greenwich Village and more for cool little shops and boutiques.
This simple and immaculately clean hotel is the perfect affordable solution for the shoe-string traveller. The rooms are simple, but feel homey in the soft neutral palate. There are singles, doubles and quadruples, most with a shared bathroom and some with a private bath. The rooms come with the bare minimum but have a hair dryer, fan and heating. The hotel has a 24-hour reception, a lift, wireless internet in public areas, a left luggage office, and children not requiring bed sleep for free (up to 6 years). Also there is a safe for a fee of $4.

Tiene una buena relacion calidad-precio, es limpio y bien situado (muy cerca de las lineas 1, 2, 3 de metro), por lo que cuesta no se puede pedir más. Quizas un unico baño por planta es algo escaso, por las mañanas se satura, y los recepcionistas podrían ser un poco más amables, pero en general me parece un sitio recomendable para viajeros con poco dinero.
great location, very friendly staff, everything was great, we felt really comfortable there, the only thing: new shower curtains would make the hotel perfect!
Die Unterkunft ist schlicht und absolut ausreichend, die Sauberkeit ist gut, hängt aber natürlich immer auch von anderen Gästen ab, die das Bad mitbenutzen!! Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und witzig ;o) Verkehrsanbindungen waren super, da die Subwaystation nur eine Straße weiter ist, sämtliche Supermärkte, Delis, Diners etc in unmittelbarer umgebung reichlich zu finden, vor allem das Metro Diner ist sehr zu empfehlen! Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt, Preis-Leistung war für eine Stadt wie New York gut!
Lage gut, U-bahn-station gleich um die Ecke. Man muss beim Einchecken gleich alles bar bezahlen, das geht find ich gar nicht. Bad war i.O., kommt immer auf die anderen Gäste drauf an, ob man es sauber vorfindet oder nicht, wir hatten Pech...Fenster im zimmer waren undicht, heizung ging teilweise nicht...Es war kalt!
Heating in room was on and off so felt cold at night as sub zero outside; daytime we were always out. Staff really helpful, tv in room, bathroom usually free when we wanted it. One block to subway kwith express trains. Safe area.
