The block, 86th Street, on which the hotel is located is surrounded by numerous restaurants and clubs lending to a vibrant area. The area is served by many subway and bus lines, with easy access to most attractions in NY. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Times Square by subway.
The rooms are very simple, and some have their own bathroom and others share a bathroom. All of the rooms offer TV and air conditioning. There is a kitchen which can be used by all guests in the common area. Double and quadruple rooms offered. There is a 24-hour reception, lift, laundry and left luggage office.

hotel bien situé.rapport qualité prix interessant pour nyc.equipements dans la chambre tres pratique(micro-ondes,frigo)cependant j'ai vu une souris dans la chambre le dernier jour.
The Dexter House Hotel is a great good surprise. I booked for a double room, when i registered in, i asked for bathroom inside the room, ( which made a big difference in feeling comfortable in the hotel, from what i've seen of shared bathrooms) its been done straight away, even if they were booked. Room was nice, large enough, cleaned everyday. Ok its a bit uptown as i love to go downtown, even if i take a taxi at night, the price is unbeattable in NY. New yorkers even asked me the adress!!
Die Unterkunft war klein, alles etwas "in die Jahre " gekommen, aber ausreichend sauber. Bei dem günstigen Preis kann man wohl nicht mehr verlangen. Ruhige Lage,U-Bahn und Lokale in der Nähe.

The staff of the hotel was really helpfull and the location perfect, very secure to walk around, we didn´t have any problem and the city is the best we have ever seem!!!!
